Gopalganj AL asks partymen not to consider Army as opponents

Gopalganj district Awami League (AL) has urged the party leaders and activists not to consider army as their opponent and let the army to do their work smoothly.

In a press release sent to media on Sunday, district Awami League General Secretary GM Sahabu Uddin Azam said that the Awami League will not take responsibility if any one of the activist or leader is engaged in violence or indiscipline.

Earlier a meeting of the district Awami League was held at the local Awami League office in Gopalganj with its president Mahbub Ali Khan in the chair.

In the meeting, the leaders and activists of different unit committees of Awami League asked to hold peaceful activities and meeting-rallies. The Awami League will not take responsibility of any anti-state activities.
