Ahsan H Mansur to be next governor of BB

The government has decided to appoint Ahsan H Mansur as the governor of Bangladesh Bank (BB).

He will succeed Abdur Rauf Talukdar.

Meanwhile, a proposal to remove the age limit for the post of governor of the Bangladesh Bank has been proposed. 
Previously, the age limit was 67 years.

Finance division of the finance ministry confirmed the matter to media.
