Students, people occupy Dhanmondi-32

Students and general people are occupying the road near Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's house in Dhanmondi-32 in the capital.

From 6am on Thursday, the students, equipped with sticks and pipes, started gathering in front of the house. Later, mass people also joined with them.

No one is allowed to enter near Bangabandhu's Dhanmondi-32 house.

A small procession of the students went back to Dhanmondi-32 after parading different roads in Dhanmondi.

"We have been here since morning. If anyone wants to take away our independence which we gained at the cost of blood, we will stop him," said the students.

Several AL supporters were handed over to on duty army personnel when they were trying to enter inside defying the obstruction.
