Benapole-Khulna train resumes operation

The Khulna-Benapole-Mongla commuter train has started its operation on Wednesday after 11 days of shutdown. 

The Railway authority stopped the operation on Khulna-Benapole-Mongla route from July last seeking people's security during countrywide anarchy.
The Betna express has resumed its operation on August 1, but the authority closed its operation again on August 3 while law and order situation worsened.

Station Master of Benapole Sayeduzzaman said Betna express left Khulna at 6:15 am and arrived at the Benapole Land Port at 8 am with 215 passengers while it left Benapole Station as namely Mongla express at 9:30 am and reached Khulna Station at  11:15 am with 235 passengers.
