Students vow to eliminate fascism, build beautiful Bangladesh

The protestors of Anti-Discrimination Students' Movement vowed to build a beautiful Bangladesh eliminating fascism in the country.

They also called for a four-point demand as a part of the 'Resistance Week' programme in districts including Gaibandha, Khulna and Rajshahi, on Thursday.

GAIBANDHA: District Unit Coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Students' Movement vowed to build a beautiful Bangladesh as the country achieved independence for the second time through the falling of Sheikh Hasina's government.

They made the comments while they were addressing a third-day programme of 'Resistance Week' on the premises of the Central Shaheed Minar in the town here on Thursday to press home four-point demand announce by the students.

District Coordinators Mehedi Hasan, Masud Rana, Rizon Mondal and Bayezid Bostami Jeem, among others, addressed the programme.
 
The coordinators in their speech demanded of the interim government led by Dr Muhammad Yunus to form a special tribunal in a bid to ensure speedy trial of the killings carried out by Sheikh Hasina, her party and her autocratic government. 

They also demanded of the government to bring to book those who participated in Awami League (AL) and its associate organization and conducted killing activities and looting and destructive activities including arson one of the minority houses in planned way. 
 
At last, they demanded the removal of all sorts of disparity among the employees of the administration and judiciary department. 

Earlier, an angry procession was brought from the Shaheed Minar premises, and it ended at the same venue after parading the main roads of the town. 

A large number of students participated in the procession and chanted slogan in favour of their demand. 

KHULNA: Students in Khulna pressed four-point demand at a sit-in-demonstration programme in the city on Thursday.

As part of the country wide 'Resistance Week' programme, the Anti-Discrimination Students' Movement announced their demand at city's Shaheed Mughda (Shibbari Intersection) square.

Earlier, the students called for a 'Resistance Week' across the country demanding the trial of Sheikh Hasina and her associates after forming a special trial tribunal.

The students, as a part of the programme, brought out a rally in the afternoon from Hadi Chattar of Khulna University (KU), which ended at the Shaheed 'Mughda Chaattar' at KDA Avenue in the city. 

Later on, they organized a sit-in-demonstration programme there. In the programme, they pressed to realise four points.

The demands included ensuring a special speedy trial tribunal for Sheikh Hasina, AL and AL-led alliances parties, who were engaged in killings, robberies and looting on minority people and tried to make contradictory situation against mass revolution led by the students. 

They also demanded removal and cancellation of all appointments of the members of the judiciary division and administration who have given legality about the mass killing during the Anti-Discrimination Students' Movement and to ensure equal rights, promotion and other opportunity for the judiciary division and administration who were victims of discrimination since long during the AL regime. 

RAJSHAHI: Local units of Rajshahi Anti-Discrimination Students' Movement called for elimination of fascism together with combating all sorts of conspiracies both in home and abroad against the student-people historic victory on Thursday.

They made the call while addressing rallies at different points in the city including Shaheb Bazar Zero Point, Talaimary, Railway Gate and C&B Crossing.

Among other coordinators, Golam Kibria Muhammad Meshkat Chowdhury, Muhammad Shalah Uddin and Abdur Rahim addressed the rallies vehemently condemning the mass-killings.

They ascertained that no more autocratic rule will emerge in the soil of Bangladesh. No more bloodshed on roads and streets by the terrorists of AL will happen in the soil. From now on, July and August will be the mourning months of students-people.

They also mentioned that Sheikh Hasina has been hatching deep-rooted conspiracies against Bangladesh staying in Delhi. She is trying to create indiscipline situations through the provocation of the Sanatan community.

They, however, categorically observed that there is no difference among people of different faiths, including Hindu and Muslim in the country.
