The weather office has warned of heavy rainfall in three divisions for the first three days of the Bengali month of Bhadra.
Meteorologist Hafizur Rahman said, "Due to the active monsoon over Bangladesh, heavy (44-88 millimetres per 24 hours) to very heavy (more than 89 millimetres per 24 hours) rainfall may occur in places in Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong divisions from 10am Friday over the next 72 hours."
