Sports institute to be set up in country soon: Adviser Asif

Youth and Sports Ministry adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan has announced to set up Bangladesh's first sports institute soon.

"The country's first sports institute will be set up within a very short time which aims to improve athletes' performance and create alternative sources of income.

He made the announcement at a press conference at the Secretariat on Sunday.
"This matter is in process and discussions are going on," Asif Mahmud said while responding to a question.
