Two more murder cases---mayhem against Hefazat and death of two students in city--- against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and some of her cohorts were filed with the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court on Sunday.

After 11 years of Hefazat-e Islam incidents at Shapla Chattar, a murder case was filed against Sheikh Hasina and 33 others as they allegedly  conducted   "mass killing"  by  the firing on a rally of Hefazat-e Islam at Motijheel's Shapla Chattar.

The other murder case against Sheikh Hasina and 12 others were filed with the CMM court in Dhaka for the death of two students in Dhaka's Sutrapur area on July 19 during the violence centring quota reform movement.

The Hefazat-e Islam killing case complainant is Mohammad Babul Sardar Chakhari, Chairman of Bangladesh People's Party,

The complainant Babul Sardar filed the case with the Court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Zaki Al Farabi on Sunday.

After hearing, the court recorded the statement of complainant and ordered the Officer-in-Charge of Motijheel Police Station to submit a report after an investigation.
