RMSTU VC, Pro-VC resign

Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU) Vice-chancellor Prof Dr. Selina Akhter and Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Kanchan Chakma have resigned from their posts following the demand of students.

Their resignations were confirmed by the university administration on Sunday night.

Earlier, at 6:30 PM on Sunday, students of the university held a procession demanding the resignation of VC Prof Dr. Selina Akhter and Pro-VC Prof Dr. Kanchan Chakma. At that time, they announced that they would stop all activities in the university until their demands were met.

In response to these demands, the duo resigned from their possessions on Sunday night.

Thanks to their resignations, and having some officials resigned earlier, the university administration is facing difficulties due to a shortage of officials.
