Traffic disruption on Komolganj-Sreemangal road

I am writing to bring to your attention a significant disruption affecting the Komolganj-Sreemangal road in Moulvibazar district. Due to heavy rains, a landslide occurred early Tuesday in Lawachara National Park, Komolganj upazila, causing a bamboo bush to fall onto the road.

Sahidul Islam, the range officer of Lawachara, confirmed that this landslide has effectively blocked vehicle movement on both sides of the road. As a result, hundreds of vehicles are currently stranded, unable to proceed. The road closure is causing considerable inconvenience for commuters and transport services. Authorities are working diligently to clear the debris and restore traffic flow. According to the range officer, normal traffic movement is anticipated to resume shortly.
I urge the relevant authorities to expedite the clearance operations and provide timely updates to the public. In the meantime, I recommend that travelers stay informed through local news sources for the latest information on road conditions.
