Week-long tree fair inaugurated in Patuakhali

A week-long tree tree fair was inaugurated in Patuakhali district on Thursday with the theme of ''Brikkho Diye Sajai Desh, Samriddha Kori Bangladesh''.

On this occasion, a colorful procession was brought out from the circuit house and paraded various roads and ended at the fair premises in the central Shaheed Minar field.
Later, a discussion was held on the occasion of the fair presided over by Divisional Forest Officer Shafikul Alam where Additional Superintendent of Police Ahmad Mainul Hasan, District Agriculture Officer Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Zadab Sarkar and other officials of the Forest Department spoke.
