An 11-member new executive committee of the Bangladesh Sangbadpatra Foundation (BDSF) has been formed with Mostafa Kamal Majumder and Shaidul Hossain Shahed elected as President and Secretary General, respectively.

The committee was formed at a recent meeting of the BDSF held at its Dhaka office. The meeting expressed deep shock and paid tribute to the martyrs of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

The meeting also felicitated Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, Nobel Laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus, and other advisers.

The BDSF demanded the assurance of unabated freedom of the country's press, the rehabilitation of the family members of the martyrs, and the provision of measures for the treatment of the injured who are currently undergoing treatment in  various hospitals and clinics.
