Journo Mujibur passes away

President of Rajshahi Division Journalist Association, Dhaka and Senior Sub-Editor of Bangladesh Pratidin Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury passed away in the early hours of on Thursday. 

He was 61.

Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) Member Mujibur Rahman breathed his last while undergoing treatment in city's Birdem General Hospital.

He left behind wife, a son a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death. 

His first Namaz-e-Janaza was held at 1pm at his working place Bangladesh Pratidin in Bashundhara area and the second Janaza was held after Asr prayer in Maniknagar, Dhaka. 

He was buried in city's Mugda area.    —BSS
