Startup Bangladesh Limited canceled an investment proposal of Tk 5 crore for '10 Minute School', the country's largest edtech platform, on July 16 last.

Startup Bangladesh Limited announced it on its verified Facebook page. However, a sensational information regarding the cancellation of the investment proposal has been revealed after a month.
Disclosing the information, former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak who is now on remand under the custody of the Detective Branch (DB), said, "I didn't want to cancel the government's five-year long Tk 5 crore contract with 10 Minute School. Former Education minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel compelled us to cancel the contract forcibly, because one of the owners of that school Aiman Sadique wrote status on his Facebook page expressing solidarity with the agitating students. They made their Facebook page red."

Under the DB's questioning, Palak said, "Despite I requested the prime minister to accept the reality, she declined to do so." The the DB official concerned asked Palak why did not he resign from his post if he really wanted stability in the country. At that time, Palak remained silent.
