Woman killed by miscreants, loot money

A woman was killed by miscreants after robbing Tk 1.30 lakh from her house in Sirajgang's Sadar upazila on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Hedeja Begum, 60, wife of Sohorab Ali Mondol, a resident of Chandalboira village in the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana Humayun Kabir said being informed by locals, police recovered throat-slit body of the woman this afternoon and sent it to a hospital for autopsy.

"The woman might have been killed her for the money," he said.
