The Bangladesh Army is donating a day's wages to the Chief Adviser's Relief Fund to help victims of the recent floods. The Inter-Service Public Relations confirmed the decision in a press release on Friday.

"A day's salary for all ranks of the Bangladesh Army has been donated to the Chief Adviser's Relief Fund in support of the flood victims," the statement said.
The amount was paid for humanitarian causes and to help victims of the ongoing severe floods in Feni, Chattogram, Cumilla, Noakhali, Sunamganj and Habiganj, the press release said.

The Army has been deployed in several of the flood-affected areas. In addition to distributing aid, they are also providing medical care and are helping to rescue civilians trapped by the water and to take them to safe shelters.
