Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan on Sunday congratulated the Bangladesh national cricket team and its all stakeholders for winning the first Test match against Pakistan by 10 wickets.

This is Bangladesh’s first Test victory against Pakistan, having failed to do so in the last 13th attempts. They had lost 12, most of which by an innings margin and drew one Test previously.

"We will be successful if the players' get opportunity on merit and if they are not stressed mentally,” Sports Adviser said in a greeting message.

He also thanked the Tigers and the Bangladesh Cricket Board for dedicating this win to the martyrs of the anti-discrimination student movement.
