Narayanganj tyre factory still burning after 12 hours

The fire that broke out in a tyre manufacturing factory at Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj district remained uncontrolled after 12 hours in the incident.

Earlier, the fire broke out at Gazi tyre manufacturing factory at 10:30 PM in Rupsi area under Tarabo municipality in the upazila.

12 firefighting units from several fire service stations units are working to bring the fire under control.

However, no report on casualties has been received yet

Kakoli Aktar, duty officer of Fire Service control room, confirmed the matter.

Replying to a question, the fire service official said the cause of the fire and extent of damage will be known only after investigation.
