Two killed in Gaibandha road accident

Two persons were killed in a road accident in Gaibandha's Palashbari upazila on Wednesday morning.

The accident happened around 10:30 am in Majhipara area on the ​​Gaibandha-Palashbari road.
One of the dead is identified as Rezaul Islam, 40, hailed from Tinmile area under Gaibandha ​​sadar upazila. The name of the other deceased, 45, could not be known immediately.

Eyewitnesses said a passenger bus belonging to 'Jannat Paribahan' was going to Gaibandha from Chittagong in the morning. On the way, when the reckless bus reached Majhipra area, it lost control and rammed an auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction. Two passengers of the auto-rickshaw died on the spot.
