Hasina, Quader sued for murder in Munshiganj

A case has been filed against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and 312 others over the killing of  one Nur Mohammad during Anti-discrimination Student Movement on August 4.

Shefali Begum, grandmother of Nur Mohammad alias Dipzol, 31, filed the case with Munshiganj Sadar Police Station on Friday morning, against 313 named and 200-300 unidentified individuals.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar police station Aminul Islam has acknowledged the matter.
Other accused in the case include former road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader and several leaders of the Awami League and Chhatra League in Munshiganj.

According to the complaint, Dipzol was shot dead during the student movement in Supermarket area of Munshiganj town. The complaint alleged that "certain corrupt and party-appointed police officers" assisted the accused in carrying out the attack.
