Murder case against 613 people including Hasina, Quader in Munshiganj

A murder case has been registered against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former minister Obaidul Quader in Munshiganj in connection with the shooting death of a day laborer named Noor Mohammad Sardar during the anti-discrimination student movement.

In the case, 613 leaders and activists of Awami League and allied organizations, including four former MPs, have been accused.
On Thursday, Sefali Begum, grandmother of the victim Noor Mohammad, filed the case with Munshiganj Sadar Police Station as a plaintiff. In the case, 313 people have been named and another 200-300 unidentified people have been accused.

Munshiganj Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Aminul Islam confirmed the information.
