Ansar member dies in Panchgarh road accident

An Ansar member died in a road accident in Panchagarh's Atwari upazila on Sunday.

The accident happened in the afternoon on the regional road at Palli Bidyut intersection under the upazila.
The dead Shakil Hossain, 25, son of Shahidul Islam, was a resident of Baradap Bamandighi village of the upazila. 

Atwari Upazila Ansar and VDP official Farida Begum said that he was not their regular Ansar member but used to perform duties during Puja and election.

According to police, Shakil Hossain was going to Atwari Bazar riding on a motorcycle from home in the afternoon. On the way, he lost control and fell on the road, leaving him injured. Locals rescued him and took to Atwari Upazila Health Complex where he died while undergoing treatment.

Atwari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Musa Mia confirmed it.
