Matsyajibi League leader hacked to death in Narsingdi

A local Matsyajibi League leader was hacked to death by miscreants in Narsingdi's Sadar upazila on Saturday night. The incident occurred at around 12:00am at Basail Sahi Eidgah in the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Lizon Mollah, 30, son of Alamgir Mollah, a resident of Basail area in the upazila. He was an executive member of the district Matsyajibi League.
It was learnt that Lizon Mollah was returning home from Renesa Trauma Centre on Saturday midnight. When he arrived near the Sahi Eidgah, some miscreants, who had been waiting, stopped Lizon Mollah's motorcycle and hacked him indiscriminately. At that time, the miscreants also set fire to Lizon's motorcycle.  Locals rescued him and took him to a local hospital, where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
