Shanta Holdings and the Gulshan Society have collaborated to redesign and revamp the Kids Zone at Gulshan Society Lake Park to 'bring joy to the city's young residents'.

The revitalised Kids Zone features a large green turf, cycling track, and an assortment of imported play equipment such as slides, swings, jungle gyms, seesaws, monkey bars, spring horses, sand box, a large tree house and more, Shanta Holdings said in a press release on Sunday.

A local artist has also decorated the wall with colourful, vibrant art.

"The zone has been designed to nurture children's curiosity, physical, cognitive, social-emotional and creative development. Offering them an engaging, safe and fun space to play, explore and learn," Shanta Holdings said.

"Families are now able to enjoy this vibrant playground, a breath of fresh air amidst the city's urban landscape, offering a much-needed oasis for children."

The Kids Zone was officially inaugurated on Saturday by RAJUK Chairman Maj Gen Siddikur Rahman Sarkar (retd). M Habibul Basit, CEO of Shanta Holdings, and ATM Shamsul Huda, former Gulshan Society president, were also in attendance.

"Shanta always strives to make a positive impact on the well-being of the community, which aligns with their goal of creating a more liveable and sustainable society for all," the press release said. "The new Kids Zone, sponsored and developed by Shanta, stands as another testament to this value of serving the community."
