Youth dies from snakebite at Rajarhat

RAJARHAT, KURIGRAM, Sept 2: A young man died from snakebite in Rajarhat Upazila of the district on Sunday. 

The deceased was identified as Limon Mia, 20, son of Nur Islam, a resident of Kendra Village under Rajarhat Sadar Union in the upazila.
Local and the deceased's family sources said that a venomous snake bit Limon Mia in the evening while he went to a bush responding nature's call, which left him critically injured.

Later on, Limon was rescued by locals and admitted to Kurigram Sadar Hospital, where he died at night while undergoing treatment.
Rajarhat Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Enamul Haque confirmed the incident.
