MBL elects Abdul Awal as chairman of Risk Management Committee

Mohammad Abdul Awal (Sumon) has been elected as Chairman of Risk Management Committee of Mercantile Bank PLC (MBL) in its 448th Board meeting held recently, says a press release. Awal is the Managing Director of Synthia Securities Ltd. He was the former Chairman of Express Insurance Limited.

He is Member Secretary of nonprofit organization 'Abdur Razzak and Mohammad Selim Foundation'. Furthermore, he has deep affinity and attachment with various socio-cultural activities like Dhaka Club Ltd., Dhanmondi Club Ltd and Gulshan North Club.
