Veteran hockey coach Fazlul Haque, the most famous face of hockey arena, popularly known as ‘Ostad Fazlu’, passed away Wednesday morning at a hospital in the capital.

He was 57.

The former hockey player and organizer Fazlul fell down at his home in the morning, hurting himself on the left shoulder.
He was rushed to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital, where attending doctors declared him dead, reports BSS.

In a separate message on Wednesday, Bangladesh Olympic Association and Bangladesh Football Federation expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Fazlul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
