Boy 'commits suicide' at Indurkani

INDURKANI, PIROJPUR, Sept 4: A teenage boy reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Indurkani Upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Abdullah, 18, son of Bahadur Hawlader, a resident of Togra Village under the upazila.
According to the deceased's family members, Abdullah was detached from his family members after his mother died. On Tuesday, they were informed that his body was hanging from a branch of a tree in an abandoned orchard in the upazila.

Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Pirojpur Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Officer-in-Charge of Indurkani Police Station Kamruzzaman Talukder confirmed the incident, adding that necessary steps would be taken in this regard.
