ACC distributes education materials in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH, Sept 4: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in the district distributed educational materials among students in five upazilas of the district to encourage practice of honesty on Tuesday afternoon.

The distribution function was organized at Maghai Panimachpukuri High School in Sadar Upazila by ACC-Thakurgaon. It was supported by District Anti-corruption Committee. A discussion meeting on anti-corruption was also held at the school.

Ajmir Sharif Marji, assistant director of the ACC-Thakurgaon, was the chief guest, with school Head Teacher AKM Rokshanul Islam Lyon in the chair.

He said, corruption cannot be prevented by law alone. 

Senior journalists and district ACC Committee members Shahidul Islam Shahid and Shahina Begum and other teaching staff of the school were present at that time.

School bags, umbrellas, tiffin boxes, geometry boxes, water pots and scales were distributed among about 300 students of the school.
A total of 1,500 students from different schools received the educational materials.
