School teacher killed in Gopalganj road accident

A school teacher was killed after being hit by a bus in Gopalganj's Kashiani upazila on Thursday.

The dead was Kanai Biswas, 30, son of Purnendu Biswas, of Tarail village under Kashiani upazila. He was a teacher in an educational institution at Sadarpur in Faridpur district.
Kashiani Police Station Sub-Inspector Tushar Mirza confirmed it.

The SI said Kanai Biswas was going home from his work place. On the way, an unidentified bus from Dhaka to Khulna hit his motorcycle near Chapta Madrasah on the Dhaka-Khulna highway at around 10:15 am, leaving him injured.

Local people took him to Kashiani Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
