Youth's body recovered in Noakhali

Police recovered the half-melted body of a youth from a beel at Sonaimuri upazila in Noakhali district on Friday afternoon. 

The body was recovered from the beel at Borla village under Sonaimuri municipality in the upazila.
 
The deceased was identified as Basar, 35, hailed from Mymensingh district. 

It was learnt that locals spotted the body in a beel near Sonaimuri Railway Station and informed police in the afternoon. 

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Noakhali General Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Bokhtiar Uddin, officer-in-charge of Sonaimuri Police Station. 

Legal procedures are under process in this regard, the OC added.
