Student movement activist Kadrul missing in Khulna

KHULNA, Sept 8: An activist of anti-discrimination students' movement went missing since Thursday has not been found yet.
The victim was identified as Kadrul Hasan, a student of Government Hazi Mohammad Muhasin College and a part-time employee of Sheikhpara Popular Diagnostic Centre in the city.

Sayeeda Khatun, wife of the victim, said, his husband went outside from the residence at Sonar Bangla lane in  Sonadanga Police Station in the city around 3pm on Thursday. 
While she communicated over cell phone around 7pm on the day, her husband replied, he was busy for relief distribution among the flood-affected people, saying he will return home soon.

"He has not received phone while it was ringing around 11pm.  And later on, it was switched off," she added. 

She said, "I lodged two general diaries with Khulna Sadar and Sonadanga Police Station in this connection".

"I lodged two general diaries with Khulna Sadar Police Station (PS) and Sonadanga PS in this connection," she said again. 

"My husband played a vital role during anti-discrimination student movement. He was very busy for collecting relief along with his inmates for flood," she added.

She further said, "I am communicating with the coordinators of anti-discrimination student movement leaders for searching him." 

"Now our family members are passing days in anxiety," she said.

She urged the administration as well as Interim Government to help her in this connection.

Referring phone call tracing of Hasan, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Khulna Sadar PS Nimai Chandra Kundu said, his (Hasan) last location was found in the city's Moylapota area. 

"Police have not got his tracing yet although we are searching for his location round the clock," the OC added. 

Students of Government Hazi Mohammad Muhasin College on Sunday brought out a human chain in the city's Khalishpur area, demanding return of missing student Kadrul Hasan.
