Minor girl drowns in Chandpur

 
CHANDPUR, Sept 9: A minor girl drowned in a bucket in a washroom in Haziganj Upazila of the district on Sunday afternoon. 
The incident took place in Nouwhata Village under Kalochosouth Union of the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Muntaha Aktar, 1, daughter of Riad Patwary of the area.
It was known that Muntaha went to the washroom in the absence of her family members. While playing with water, she accidentally drowned in the bucket.

Later on, the family members found her unconscious and took her to a doctor, where she was declared dead.
