2 Swechhasebak League men hacked in Sylhet

SYLHET, Sept 9: A Swechasebak League leader and an activist were hacked by unidentified miscreants in Sylhet city on Sunday night.

The injured are - Manjur Ahmed, general secretary of ward No-7 unit of the Awami League's voluntary wing Swechasebak League and party activist Rumel Ahmed. They are the residents of Lal-Sabuj residential area of the city.

Of them, Manjur was shifted to a Dhaka hospital due to critical injuries as the miscreants severed the tendons in his hands and legs. â€”UNB
