Two crushed under train in Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ, Sept 10: A man and a woman were crushed under a train in Bhairab Upazila of the district on Sunday morning.
The accident took place in bridge number 27 in Bhairabpur area under the upazila at around 8:30 am.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Local sources said that the Chattogram-bound intercity train Sonar Bangla Express was crossing the railway bridge at around 8:30 am. At that time, the train hit the two people while they were walking on the railway bridge. They fell under the bridge and were seriously injured. 
Being informed, Fire Service personnel rescued them and took to Bhairab Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared the duo dead.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Bhairab Railway Police Station (PS) Akbar Hossain said that the bodies have been kept in the railway PS. They have not yet been identified.
