One more murder case was filed against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 134 others with the Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court on Tuesday over the death of a member of the Bangladesh Jatyatabadi Sramik Dal Riyazul Talukdar during the anti-discrimination movement in the Jatrabari area of the capital.
After hearing the complainant's allegation, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saddam Hossain ordered Jatrabari Police Station to take the complaint as first information report (FIR).
The other prominent accused in the case are Obaidul Quader, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Moshiur Rahman Mollah Sajal, Enamul Haque Shamim, Iqbal Hossain Opu and Nahim Razzaq.
The victim's brother, Rubel Talukdar, filed the case with CMM court in Dhaka on Tuesday.
The complaint said that on August 4, during the anti-discrimination student movement, thousands of students and people were marching in support of the movement at the Chaar Rasta Intersection in Jatrabari at around 5:00pm.
