Journalist Shafik Rehman admitted to BSMMU

Journalist Shafik Rehman has been admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) with various ailments.

Shafik Rehman, also a political analyst, writer and former editor of the newsweekly-turned-daily 'Jai Jai Din' returned home from London, United Kingdom, on August 19 after long six years. Since then he has been suffering from various ailments. As he fell sick on Monday, he was admitted to the BSMMU in the evening of that day.
Shafik Rehman's MRI examination and other pathological tests have already been conducted. His diabetes is under control. He is now undergoing observation of his physicians at the BSMMU.
