Three murdered in Narail, N'ganj

Three people were murdered in separate incidents in two districts - Narail and Narayanganj, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
NARAIL: Two brothers were killed in an attack carried out by their opponents in Lohagara Upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.  
At least five people were also injured at that time.
The incident took place in Chermallikpur Village of the upazila at around 8:30 am. 
The deceased were identified as Miran Sheikh, 30, a resident of the village, and his brother Ziaur Sheikh, 40.
According to police and local sources, Miran and Ziaur were going to a field from their home in the morning. On the way, due to a previous dispute, their opposing people attacked them with indigenous weapons, leaving the duo critically injured. Five more people were also injured at that time while they were trying to stop the attackers. 
Later on, locals rescued the injured and took them to Lohagara Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctors declared Miran and Ziaur Sheikh dead.
Being informed, police recovered the bodies.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Lohagra Police Station (PS) Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the incident, saying that additional police have been deployed in the area to avert any further collision. 
However, the law enforcers are trying to detain those involved in the incident, the OC added.
NARAYANGANJ: A garments worker was stabbed to death by miscreants in Sadar Upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The incident took place in front of LGED office in Bilas Nagar area of Fatullah under the upazila at night.
The deceased was identified as Shamim, 18, son of Janub Ali, a resident of Sagar Villa in Isdair Sugandha Residential area of Fatullah.
It was known that Shamim along with his two friends Bijoy and Saikat was returning home from the garments factory after work at night. On the way, a group of 15 to 20 snatchers led by the group leader Shukkur attacked them and tried to snatch their mobile phones in front of LGED office in Bilas Nagar area. As the trio resisted the snatchers, they stabbed Shamim and Bijoy, leaving the two injured. 
Later on, locals rescued the injured and took them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where the on-duty doctor declared Shamim dead.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to the DMCH morgue for an autopsy.
The deceased's elder brother Bablu demanded quick arrest and exemplary punishment for those involved in the killing of his brother.
Fatullah Model PS Solaiman Mahmud confirmed the incident, adding that the law enforcers are trying to detain the involved people.
