Woman burnt at Amtali

AMTALI, BARGUNA, Sept 11: A mentally-imbalanced woman was burnt dead in Amtali Upazila of the district recently.
The incident took place in Utar Tepura Village under Haldia Union of the upazila. 
Deceased Rina Begum, 40, was the daughter of late Abdur Rashid Matubbar of the village.
It was known that Rina Begum was a mentally-imbalanced woman and used to live in her late father's house. On Sunday morning, neighbours saw fire caught Rina's room. They rushed there and after dousing the blaze, found the charred body of Rina. 
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Barguna General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Officer-in-Charge of Amtali Police Station Kazi Shakhawat Hossain Topu confirmed the incident, adding that an unnatural death case was filed in this regard.
