Trader stabbed to death, wife hurt in Bogura attack

BOGURA, Sept 11: A trader has been stabbed to death and his wife injured in an attack in Bogura's Sadar Upazila.

The incident occurred around 12:15pm on Wednesday in the city's Joypurpara area, according to Sub Inspector Abdur Rahim.

The deceased, 45-year-old Rana Mia, is a local resident and was an iron trader by profession.

His wife, Rozy Begum, has been admitted to the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogura.

Rana was returning home with his wife after a visit to his sister's home, SI Abdur said.
