2 DU professors appointed as UGC members

Two Dhaka University professors from have been appointed as full-time members of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

A gazette notification, signed by Dr Md Farhad Hossain, Deputy Secretary of Private University-1 Branch of the Ministry of Education, was issued in this regard on Thursday.

The newly appointed members are Dr Mohammad Tanzimuddin Khan of the International Relations Department and Dr Mohammad Anwar Hossain of the Sociology Department.

They will serve as full-time members of the UGC for the next four years.
