Six foot-over-bridges opened in Rajshahi

Newly constructed six foot-over-bridges were opened for pedestrian movement in Rajshahi City on Wednesday.

The bridges were built at the gate of Rajshahi New Government Degree College, Luximipur Crossing, Nawdapara Bazar, Talaimary Crossing, Binodpur crossing and Agrani School and College.
Construction works of two other bridges at Sonadighi crossing and Mission Girls High School are on the final stage.

Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has constructed the bridges at a cost of Tk 50.72 crore as part of RCC's Tk 2,993 crore project titled 'Integrated Urban Infrastructure Development in Rajshahi City'.

RCC Administrator and Commissioner of Rajshahi Division Dr Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir inaugurated the bridges.
