Twaki murder: One makes confession, two remanded again

In the much-talked about Tanvir Muhammad Twaki murder case, arrested Kajal Howlader has made confessional statement to court.

His confessional statement was recorded at the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Haider Ali in Narayanganj on Sunday (September 15) afternoon.

At the same time, other two arrested accused were taken to another three-day remand by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) for questioning in Twaki murder case.

The remanded accused are Safayet Hossain Shipon and Mamun Mia. producing them before the court, the investigation officer (IO) of the case pleaded to place them on another five-day remand for questioning. However, after hearing both sides, senior judicial magistrate Haider Ali placed both the accused on a three-day remand. At the same time, the court rejected their bail prayers.
