Technician electrocuted while fixing Internet connection

A technician died from electrocution while fixing Wi-Fi connection at Begumganj upazila in Noakhali district on Sunday evening. 

The incident happened at Ward No.2 under Kutubpur union in the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Chandra Das Biplob, 25, son of Nepal Chandra Das, a resident of Yarpur village under Senbag upazila.

Locals said that Biplob came in contact with a live electric wire while he was connecting an internet connection, leaving him dead on the spot. 
On information, police recovered the body from the scene, said Md Anwarul Islam, officer-in-charge of Begumganj Police Station. 

Legal steps will be taken after taking with the deceased's family, the OC added.
