According to local sources, the disgusting load-shedding has been continuing in the upazila for the last one week.

In tandem with severe warming, the load-shedding misery is mounting up, crippling the life of general people and day-earners mostly.

At present, people are undergoing troubles of 9-10 hour load-shedding in 24 hours.

Warming and load-shedding are prevailing in entire Sylhet Division having 92 government and private tea estates. Their production is hampered.

"To keep the usual production, we are using generator, increasing the production cost," he added.
