Two Rohingya men killed at Ukhiya

UKHIYA, COX'S BAZAR, Sept 17: Two Rohingya persons were killed in separate incidents in Ukhiya Upazila of the district on Monday morning over establishing supremacy.
The deceased were identified as Kabir Ahmed, 27, and Nurul Bashar, 55.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhiya Police Station Shamim Hossain said that around 30 to 40 people equipped with arms picked up Nur Bashar from his house at Jamtoli, and shot him to death.
In another incident, ten people entered Kutupalong Lal Hills Rohingya camp at Block C-2 through a barbed wire fence and abducted Kabir Ahmed, who was on his way to pray at a local mosque early on Monday. Kabir was stabbed by the miscreants and later, shot to death outside the camp.
Being informed, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsies.
However, the law enforcers are investigating the matter and trying to detain those involved in the killings, the OC added.
