Commercial Bank of Ceylon aids flood victims

Commercial Bank of Ceylon Plc came forward to support the victims of recent floods that have swept across multiple districts in Bangladesh.

CEO of Commercial Bank of Ceylon Plc, Najith Meewanage, officially handed over the CSR donation items to Adnan Hossain, Founder and Executive Director of IHF recently, says a press release. 
 
The Deputy CEO and COO Kasun Herath and other senior officials of the Bank and IHF were also present in the programme.

Commercial Bank of Ceylon has taken initiatives to provide a contribution of life-saving medicines such as Napa, Flagyl, Saline, water purifying tablets etc. and hygiene packs to the victims of the devastating flood. 

The hygiene packs contain soap, washing powder, disinfectant liquid, mosquito nets, towels, toothpaste, toothbrush, sanitary napkins for women and other such necessary items. Its Humanity Foundation will be the distribution partner for distributing the CSR goods to the flood-affected people of Feni Noakhali, Cumilla, Khagrachari, Rajnagar of Habiganj and Moulvibazar.
