KHULNA, Sept 18: A workshop on ''Mastering Your Thesis' was held in Journalist Liaquat Ali auditorium of Acharya Jagodish Chandra Bosu Academic Building of Khulna University (KU) on Tuesday.
Senior Professor Md Rezaul Karim, in-charge of administrative and financial activities of the university, spoke as the chief guest at the opening session of the workshop.
Prof Md Rezaul Karim said, students should aim at research and higher studies to keep pace with the modern world.
Existing programmes of the university should be accredited, he added.
Among others, Professor Dr Selina Ahmed, head of Sociology Department, and Professor Dr Shonjoy Kumar Chandra of the same discipline spoke as special guests.
Dr Md Nasif Ahsan, advisor of KU Research Society and Professor of Economics Department, and Dr Md Nazmus Sadat, advisor of KU Research Society and professor of Forestry and Wood Technology Department also spoke as key-note speakers.
Students from different disciplines of the university participated in the workshop.
The workshop was organized by KU Research Society, sponsored by Computer Cafe, media partner of Khulna University Journalists Association and photography partner Dipakkhik.
