Avoid adulterated foods

Dear Sir

The urgent issue of food adulteration in Bangladesh poses a significant threat to public health. As a nation of food lovers, we face the alarming reality of harmful chemicals infiltrating our daily meals. From fruits treated with calcium carbide to adulterated rice and meat, our quest for fresh and nutritious food is often met with poison.
Research indicates that millions suffer from diseases linked to these practices, including cancer and diabetes. Despite strict laws against food adulteration, enforcement remains weak, allowing unscrupulous traders to thrive.

To combat this, we must prioritize awareness and advocate for organic farming. Individuals can cultivate their own vegetables and fruits, ensuring access to safe food. Together, we can foster a healthier future for our children and generations to come.
