BASA prays to increase service entry age to 35yrs, retirement at 65yrs

The prayer of the Bangladesh Administrative Service Association (BASA) to increase the government services age limits at both entry and retirement levels has been sent to the Public Administration Ministry for consideration.

On Wednesday, the Cabinet Division forwarded the prayer to the PA Ministry as the matter of increasing service ages is under the jurisdiction of the PA Ministry. Cabinet Division Joint Secretary Md. Sazzadul Hasan signed the forwarding on behalf of the Division.

Recently, BASA Secretary General Muhammad Mahbubur Rahman submitted the prayer to the Cabinet Division on behalf of the government jobseekers demanding increasing the service age limits at both entry and retirement levels.
Responding to the mass gathering and blockade at Shahbagh intersection by the government jobseekers, the BASA had taken the initiative to submit the prayer to the Cabinet Division. 

In the prayer, the BASA Secretary General demanded service entry age at 35 years and retirement age at 65 years as the demand and importance of the public service is increasing day by day.
